Where Compassion Meets Professional Grooming

Luxe & Leash Grooming Studio was created with one simple belief: a beautiful groom should never come at the expense of a dog’s comfort or wellbeing.

I’m Sharon, founder and groomer at Luxe & Leash. My love for animals and belief in kindness inspired me to create a grooming studio where dogs are treated as individuals — not appointments on a production line.

Based in Wyndham Vale, Luxe & Leash is a calm, professionally equipped home grooming studio offering personalised care for dogs of all sizes, breeds and coat types.

 

One Dog at a Time

I deliberately groom one dog at a time.

There are no crowded waiting areas, no conveyor-belt grooming and no pressure to rush a dog simply because the next appointment is waiting.

This allows me to work at your dog’s pace, introduce equipment gradually when needed and give nervous, sensitive or inexperienced dogs the extra patience they deserve.

For some dogs, that little bit of extra time makes all the difference.

 

Welfare Comes First

My approach is simple: the dog comes before the haircut.

I use calm, compassionate handling and make grooming decisions with your dog’s comfort, safety and coat condition in mind. I use a nail grinder, do not routinely pull ear hair, and I will never force painful dematting simply to preserve coat length.

Sometimes the kindest groom is not the longest or fluffiest groom — and I will always explain why.

I also believe owners should understand what is happening with their dog's coat and skin. Education is an important part of Luxe & Leash, from brushing and coat maintenance to puppy grooming foundations and caring for double, curly and doodle-type coats between appointments.

 

More Than a Grooming Appointment

Luxe & Leash was never intended to be simply a place where dogs come for a haircut.

Through our Puppy Foundations Program, young dogs can be introduced to grooming gradually and positively, helping build confidence that can last throughout their lives.

Our Kindness Paw initiative also provides a complimentary groom each month for a dog whose owner may be experiencing genuine hardship — because sometimes caring for animals also means caring for the people who love them.

 

A Studio Designed Around Dogs

Every part of the studio has been chosen with comfort, hygiene and safety in mind, including professional grooming equipment, an electric lift bath, hydraulic grooming table and high-velocity drying equipment.

But equipment alone doesn't create a good grooming experience.

Patience does. Trust does. Kindness does.

And that's what I want every dog walking through the door at Luxe & Leash to experience.

 

My Promise

I won't promise that every dog will instantly love grooming.

What I can promise is that I will listen to them.

I will pay attention when they're worried, celebrate the little breakthroughs, work within their limits and never forget that the dog standing on my grooming table is somebody's much-loved family member.

Because at Luxe & Leash, grooming isn't only about how a dog looks when they leave.

It's about how they feel while they're here. ❤️
